About Selkirk Rally
The Rally started in 1992 and has grown now to one of the largest in Scotland. The Rally is held annually on the third Sunday of September; over 1500 entries in 2004.
This years date is the 18th September.
We have 28 classes taking in all modes of transport from Veteran Cars to Post war Buses, Military, and Commercial Vehicles. A large agricultural selection Tractors, Stationary Engines , Agricultural Implements, and a variety of Collections, Miniature and full size Traction Engines.
One make Car Clubs find our event a great end of season get together and come in large numbers.
Each Class is judged and a trophy awarded.

Entrants can camp on site from Thursday to Monday, there is a run on the Saturday taking drivers through some of our

breathtaking countryside, and the run starts at 11.30am.
We have a marquee on site with a bar and live band for a social night on the Saturday so bring your dancing shoes.
On Saturday we have a lot going on, there is a ring parade of the vehicles, a children's Tug of War with a Traction Engine, huge fairground, face painting, with lots more children's entertainment, plus our local Pipe Band, all the stalls will be open selling caravans, car spares, jewellery, plants, toys, hosiery, antiques, driveways not forgetting hot food and ice cream.
