Since it began in 1993, the Selkirk Rally has become the biggest vintage car rally in Scotland, growing from 80 to 1884 exhibitors and 300 to 4000 visitors.

These Regulations have been made up because, a number off things have come to our attention.Please read the regulations before you fill in the entry form. If you cannot abide by these Regulations do not fill in the entry form.Admin fee of £2.00 per exhibit
Do not arrive without your exhibit; your exhibit is your passport into the rally. Numbers & Passes must be displayed on your vehicle at all times, Please have your number on your vehicle when you arrive at the rally gate.You and your exhibit must arrive together i.e. camping unit, trailer, or any extra vehicle unless previously arranged with the organizers.
Your exhibit must be on display and working for the rally on Sunday.Please bring with you all appropriate legal documents for your exhibit, you may be asked to produce them.
No Trade Plates.Your admin fee allows two adults only; any more adults will cost £6.00 each, if camping this payment does not allow extra camping units on the rally field. Children are Free.No industrial generators to be used on the rally field. All generators must be switched off by 11.00pm.Due to the large numbers at Selkirk Rally when a compound gets full, that compound will be closed to any more entries, whether this be before the closing date or not, we must comply with this the field is not made of elastic.
No driving on the rally field in the hours of darkness unless assisted by a marshal. Please do not abuse this it is for your safetyDriving on the rally field is for License Holders only, No under age driving of any vehicle, No person shall be carried anywhere within the rally area on any vehicle which is not constructed or adapted to carry passengers, e.g. Agricultural Tractors.
Camping; - There is free camping to all entrants on the rally field, but if you arrive in the hours of darkness, you will be asked to park on the road adjacent to the rally field. Please state on the form if you require camping. If you are camping please help us by having your vehicle on the compound before 9.30am on the Sunday. There will be rolls, milk and papers for sale in the marquee on Saturday and Sunday morning. Please make sure you leave the area free of litter.
Alternatively;-You can book yourself into the Victoria Caravan Park Selkirk, at the side of the beautiful River Ettrick, just a few minutes drive from the rally field. The site boasts star rated facilities which include toilets, showers, swimming pool, sauna, fitness room, cafeteria and electric hook-up. Members cannot enter exhibit into class compound and same exhibit onto club stand.Admin fee per vehicle £2.00.One entry only per exhibit
Auto jumble; -As usual there will be a huge amount of autojumble, crafts, charity and various other stalls.Junior Class; - Is for entrants under 16 years of age, therefore exhibit must be suitable for a child. Not suitable for Cars, Motorcycles, Tractors, Commercials Stationary Engines, Agricultural Implements, Steam. Children under 16 years cannot legally drive or ride any exhibit on the rally field.

The majority of our enthusiasts already comply with all the above, for those of you who do not, are spoiling it for the organisers and the rest of the enthusiasts.
The Rally started in 1993 and has grown now to one of the largest in Scotland. The Rally is held annually on the third Sunday of September; over 1500 entries in 2008.
